Paribhu Thapa

Namaste! I’m Paribhu (they/them), a graduate intern currently completing my program with Gannon University. I was born and raised in Nepal and have been in the United States since 2017.

I would consider my ‘style’ to be a mixture of mainly person-centered, existential, and humanistic approaches focusing on groups such as the BIPOC, LGBTQ+ communities, immigrants, and women. However, I am open and excited to work with anyone who could benefit from me and find me as a good fit. I also have particular interests in working through a decolonizing lens and incorporating Eastern philosophies.

I want to make sure that the people I work with feel heard and empowered, and that our time together provides a plan that is personal, attainable, and reflects their priorities and beliefs with ample opportunity for self-exploration. I’m excited to see where we are headed!
