About Angelica

Welcome—I'm glad you're here. My name is Angelica Spraggins and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania, dedicated to supporting BIPOC individuals on their journey toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.

I earned both my Bachelor's degree in Psychology (2006) and my Master’s degree in Counseling (2015) from Edinboro University. My early work focused on substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation counseling, with a particular emphasis on individuals living with congenital and acquired disabilities. These experiences shaped my trauma-informed approach and deepened my commitment to meeting each client with empathy and respect.

Today, my practice centers on helping BIPOC individuals process past and present traumas in a safe, supportive environment. I integrate a range of evidence-based approaches—Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), person-centered therapy, and components of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)—to meet the unique needs of each person I work with. My goal is to create space for acceptance, self-understanding, and the kind of growth that feels both empowering and lasting.

Whether you're navigating complex trauma, seeking clarity, or simply want to reconnect with yourself, I’m here to walk alongside you.
