Play Therapy
Journey has a number of clinicians with experience using child-centered play therapy to assist children and adolescents who have experienced traumatic and difficult events.
We contract with a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor and a Registered Play Therapist in order to consult on the ways a teen or child are trying to communicate their hurt through the way they play, draw, use music, or other expressive outlets.
Hurt children do play differently, and we help them and their loved ones understand how they are hurting and lead them towards healing using their language.
